GEMMx Workshops are smaller solutions-focussed workshops on more defined themes, topics or geographic regions. The workshops may originate from an idea generated at a larger GEMM Dialogue session, or be a specific topic that a partner brings to us to “ground-test” in more detail using our approach and values. A key feature of the GEMMx Workshops is there is an intended follow up / action that will occur. Workshops to date include:
- Landscape scale planning in the extractive sector – October 14, 2015
- Tailings management costs and risk analyses issues and options – October 14, 2015
- Diplomatic Mining: The Experience of Practitioners – April 30, 2015
