I am PhD candidate at UBC's Norman B. Keevil Institute of Mining Engineering. My interest in non-market risk assessment encouraged me to increase my knowledge and experience in risk modelling and risk evaluation. This led me to pursue a doctoral degree at UBC during which I am developing quantitative models for assessment of socio-political risks. These models shall help mining companies to reduce costs, make better investments and run their projects sustainably; in other words it is about how to make more sustainable business in mining industry.
